ATTENTION PARENTS:

The items on all supply lists are OPTIONAL. The quantities listed are for the entire school year so that parents are better able to plan ahead. As such, all items on the list do not have to be sent the first day of school.

Please know that ALL children will have, for their personal use, everything they need to be successful.

• 5 differently colored two-pocket folders with prongs

• Colored pencils

• 1 pack of wide-lined notebook paper

• 12 - #2 pencils, sharpened (No mechanical pencils, please)

• Scissors

• Soft zippered pouch for supplies

• 3 marbled composition books

• 3 glue sticks

• 1 box of tissues

Each fifth grade student will receive a free student planner.  If they lose or destroy their planner, they will be asked to purchase a new one from our school store.

Please do not send binders as they will not fit into the students’ desks.  Due to limited space, we also request that students not bring wheeled backpacks.  These items will be returned home and not allowed in school.

Optional Items

If you are able to provide any of the following items for classroom use, it would also be greatly appreciated:

• Ziploc storage bags (quart and gallon size)

• Plastic spoons or forks

• Highlighters

• Dry erase markers

**Although the school provides the materials and supplies for basic instructional activities, the optional supply items on this list will allow your child to have an enhanced educational program.  We appreciate your commitment to the education of your child, and with your help we can provide a great program for the students at Hancock Creek Elementary.
